Rudradeva II

Rudradeva II
(?-1324)
He was the Kakatiya ruler of Waran-gal who submitted to Delhi when attacked by Malik Kafur in 1309. Later, in 1318, when Khusrau Khan was deputed by Mubarak Shah Khalji (1316-1320) to invade Telingana, Rudradeva II renewed his allegiance to Delhi. But repudiating the overlordship of the Delhi sultanate in 1321, he captured Bidar.
Subsequently, Warangal was defeated by Ulugh Khan (later Muhammad bin Tughlaq). Rudradeva died while being taken to Delhi.
